About Us

Welcome to the African Boys and Girls Can Lead nonprofit organization! Founded by Madina Hussein, a dedicated individual with a passion for empowering youth and creating positive change. Madina, a mother of four lovely children, was inspired by her own experiences as a parent to establish this organization.

Madina’s educational background includes graduation from Cuyamaca College in El Cajon, California, where she obtained a degree in social work. She has also pursued other certifications and diplomas in various fields such as child development, community health, business environment, domestic violence and rape survivors’ programs, administration, and case management.

Recognized for her exceptional leadership skills and commitment to youth development, Madina was honored with the most Positive personality Award by a youth leadership program in San Diego. She has also established herself as a trusted mentor through her involvement in the Peace Program in San Diego.

Madina’s deep-rooted passion lies in helping young individuals cultivate an understanding and acceptance of each other’s unique qualities, cultural differences, moral values, and beliefs. She passionately believes that our youth are the foundation of our future and aims to provide them with the necessary tools and guidance to become compassionate, responsible, and successful leaders.

At the African Boys and Girls Can Lead nonprofit organization, our mission is to empower youth by fostering an inclusive environment that promotes personal growth, leadership skills, and mutual respect. Through a variety of programs and initiatives, we aim to equip young individuals with the knowledge, resources, and support needed to navigate life’s challenges, make informed decisions, and positively contribute to their communities.

Join us on this incredible journey of empowering youth and building a brighter future for all. Together, we can inspire change, celebrate diversity, and create a world where every child can thrive and lead with confidence.
